The McKenzie family brought two women servants with them to perform kitchen help and look after the children. When they arrived at Craigflower, there were so few woman that their help were married off almost immediatly.
So the McKenzies hired two aboriginal Princesses by the names of Lucy and Polly.
These two girls were daughters of Chief Sisiwaka. They both were known to be very strong and stand up for themselves when they were scolded, by standing up very strait and saying "Remember I am a chiefs daughter.
Pretend you are either Lucy or Polly and write a daily diary telling of the activities you would help the family with. Explain how your life would proceed in the 1860's.
